Distillation unit using deionized water

Steam distilling unit for determining ammonia nitrogen, total Kjeldahl or direct alkaline proteic nitrogen, nitric nitrogen (after reduction), phenols, volatile fatty acids, cyanides, sulphur dioxide, alcohol content, etc. in cereals, food and feed, water, soil, sludges, sediments and chemicals.
The distillation unit is equipped with a patented steam generator fed with deionized water, in absolute safety and with no ordinary maintenance.
The additions of sodium hydroxide to the solution to be distilled, when required, are obtained by the operation of a pump whose volume is evaluated by a graduated scale.
Cooling water supply is automatically interrupted during idle periods, sharply reducing water consumption.
The unit is equipped with a system that recognizes the presence of the test tube, without which the pumps don't operate.

Suitable for
AOAC, EPA, DIN, ISO
