Imperial V Mechanical Convection Laboratory Ovens with microprocessor control and mechanical convection are designed for precise temp requirements and automatic temp cycling.

All units come with a PID temp control which ensures accurate temp regulation; a digital set guarantees repeatable settings. The ovens come standard with a Watlow 965 controller and dual readouts that simultaneously indicate set temp and measured temp. A timer may be added to this standard controller, and a choice of two programmable controller options offer additional capabilities to store one program (with two ramps and two dwells) or four programs (with eight ramps and eight dwells).

A platinum RTD temp sensor is positioned to respond instantly to the temp of the oven contents, thereby ensuring that the value displayed on the LED is a true indication of the load temp. An independent hydraulic thermostat maintains the temp at a few degrees above the setpoint should the controller fail. A panel light indicates if the over-temp thermostat is controlling the oven.

The oven interior is 304 stainless steel with two chrome-plated shelves, and the exterior is enamel steel. All controls are mounted on a convenient bottom control panel that is recessed and sheltered from spills. All models are supplied with a 3-wire cord and plug and are available in three chamber sizes: 2.5, 3.5, or 4.4 cubic feet, with either 120V or 240V power.
